18 hole course - designed by Golf East - opened autumn 2008
Situated in pineapple plantations just south of hua hin, the course will provide spectacular scenery against a backdrop of mountains.
Khun Pirapon Namatra managing director of GolfEast believes that the Banyan golf course has a very natural feel to it and by its design has the potential to be the best golf course in Thailand, if not in south east Asia.
The clubhouse is inspired by authentic thai architecture, over 2,000 sqm., made of teak, with beautiful thai roof.
Local rules & regulations
1. Banyan golf club rules are governed by the r&a.
2. Pinaple plantations are a lateral hazard, relief is given.
3. Relief: A player can obtain relief within one club length through the green if the ball lies in the following;-
a) a drainage cover
b) valve boxes or sprinkler heads
c) staked trees
d) ground under repair
